Accounts Payable Clerk
 
Home builder is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Clerk to join a small accounting team.  Candidate must be detail oriented with strong organization and communication skills.  Knowledge of basic accounting and standard accounts payable procedures necessary.  Must have the ability to work accurately with numbers.
 
Will be responsible for:
 
- Processing vendor invoices, ensure appropriate approvals, supporting documents,
  and coding
- Prepare weekly check run, manual and priority check requests as necessary
- Handle vendor payment issues and inquiries, analyze and resolve discrepancies
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling vendor statements and related transactions
- Setup and maintain accounts payable vendor files
- Bank reconciliations
- Recording all deposits
- Open and disburse daily mail
- Other general support as needed
